Trini Poe-Leece
Check out BC.RAW blog, the post Gregors on the Poe-Leece is very funny, sadly it is also very true.
To the good cops, keep ya head up!
To the crooked cops, karma is a bitch!
DISTURBING!!!!
I just read this disturbing story, When will it End? on Survivein’ Trinidad, another one of many horrifying stories that is taking place in Trinidad.
I am sad, because Trinidad seems to be on the verge of collapsing.
THE CRIMINALS ARE IN CHARGE. VISION 20/20 IS A JOKE. PATRICK MANNING AND HIS CABINET IS A JOKE.
2009 and Police still saying, “We have no Vehicles”
So much for 20/20 vision. What a joke!!!!
I think I just need to stop reading the daily papers, because the dotishness is driving me crazy. After reading this article in the express I just want to hang every politician upside down like bats, especially the PM and slap them silly, (wait they done silly already) so slapping them silly will not do much. Well, I still want to slap them and leave them out in the sun to dry like prunes and then package them and ship them off to never-never land.
Residents and business people complained vehemently yesterday that they need more patrols, but said whenever they call the Woodbrook Police Station they are told that there are no vehicles.
In the year 2009 you could believe that they still saying they have no vehicles.
The Express understands that some residents have also complained to the police about “strange characters” seen in one of the area’s many parks. A senior officer in the station reportedly advised them to contact social services. “But these people are not vagrants, they are bandits and they wait until people go to work to rob their homes,” one resident said angrily.
And the audacity of a senior officer to make such a comment to the resident to call social services. Even if it was vagrants it is the duty of a police officer to respond to whatever the situation or circumstances may be, and Mr. Senior Officer even if social services are responsible they should be escorted by the police.
I had to resort to my Cote Ci, Cote La dictionary to describe the senior police officer and the government for not providing enough vehicles for the police officers to function, and knowing how Trini police is operate they may have the vehicles and still come up with some excuse why they can’t respond.
OK so the Cote ci, Cote la word is:- BEH-BEH.

Huh????
This article: Legacy of peace built on life of crime in the Trinidad Express has me a bit confused.
So, is the government and the PM in bed with these gang leaders? After reading the article I was so perturb that I called my friend in Trinidad, call me stupid, but something is wrong here. After ranting to my friend his response to me was, “Trinis all know that’s been going on for a long time now…the government is corrupted, the police is politically corrupted so they have no choice but to be on the same side with them.” So is this why the crime is so rampant in Trinidad, because the gang leaders know that they are running things and the heads of state dare not try to curtail their activites?
I am on the outside looking in, so when I read these things it’s hard for me to understand why these people are still in power. But then who can be trusted, because UNC and COP also met with this said gang leader.
I think the person who responded to the article in the ‘post a comment’ summed it up perfectly:-
Confused
I really don’t understand this…if all of this history and illegal activity is known, then why aren’t gang leaders been held responsible for their actions? Where is the police in all of this? And why are the leaders even negotiating with these people? And it’s in the newspapers time and time again. I am quite bewildered!!
